At 1723 Voorburg, you’ll quickly feel at home! You’re always welcome for a snack and a drink, or a delicious fresh meal. For almost ten years, we’ve been cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to reduce waste. Did you know that one-third of all produced food is wasted? A shame, we believe.
Therefore, every day, we offer a choice of three delightful dishes. Please specify whether you prefer meat, fish or a vegetarian dish when making a reservation. Then our chef makes sure a delicious meal will be ready for you. Because we prioritize sustainability, we also keep our meals affordable.
Of course, you can also casually drop in for a drink, a delicious beer or a good glass of wine. We offer craft beers on tap, delicious wines and an impressive selection of spirits. With forty different gins, your gin-tonic will always hit the spot!

Chef Pieter proves ‘simple’ dishes can be delicious too. Not much fuss, but honest, fresh, and well-prepared food for a more than reasonable price. The ambience and service at 1723 are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality. The green concept of minimal kitchen waste (you specify your meal a day in advance) greatly appealed to us. We’ll be back soon in this ‘culinary living room’.

Superb location with genuinely good food at a reasonable price! Not an extensive menu, but plenty to choose from. The service is a fun mix of experienced and young individuals.

A modern, stylish, and cozy restaurant with excellent service where you feel welcome. I was surprised by the atmosphere, hospitality, and great food. A lovely atmosphere with delicious dishes and drinks.
